P-BP01 – Optical Hidden Camera Detector

Hidden cameras are more common than you think, hiding in clocks, smoke alarms, and even ordinary everyday objects, or even spying on your privacy in the form of “pinhole” lenses. P-BP01 is specially designed to quickly detect and locate hidden micro cameras, effectively protecting your privacy.

Detection principle:

Adopts advanced optical detection technology, which works based on the retroreflection or “reverse flare” effect. When the beam it emits hits the lens or photodetector of the hidden camera, these lenses reflect the light back to the device like a mirror, showing a clear bright red dot in the field of view, accurately marking the location of the camera.

Unique advantages:

• The device is particularly good at detecting pinhole cameras (lens size is 1 mm) and has a detection range of 1 to 20 meters (the specific effect varies depending on environmental conditions, such as lighting and obstacles).
• To enhance detection accuracy, the hidden camera detector uses LED target lighting to ensure safe operation and avoid emitting harmful radiation to the human body (as opposed to laser-based systems).
• Unlike detection systems that rely on RF signals or electromagnetic fields, the P-BP01 operates in the optical range. This allows it to detect any optical device, whether it is powered on or off, and whether it is transmitting data via wireless channels or wired connections. In addition, the P-BP01 is immune to obstacles such as RF interference, electromagnetic shielding, and light blocking devices, which means that the device can function reliably in almost any environment.
• The built-in multi-coated roof prism system significantly improves optical performance, and the high magnification, wide field of view and clear image quality not only greatly improve the speed of room inspections, but also reduce the possibility of missing any potential targets.
• The device is powered by common AA alkaline batteries (1.5V), which have a long operating time and do not require frequent battery replacement.
• The housing adopts a sturdy and lightweight aluminum alloy body to ensure durability while taking into account portability. The matching wrist strap and soft rubber eye mask increase the comfort of use.
